Garytoons!

I have no idea where the inspriation for this strip came from.   Sometimes ideas just pop into my head, and I run with them.  I’ve definitely never encountered a kangaroo at the breakfast table, but I don’t rule out the possibility… 

I like drawing these bigger, full-color “Sunday” type strips; they give me a chance to tell a little bit more of a story and delve into the characters’ personalities a little bit more.  They take a lot longer to make–about 3 times as long as a regular black and white 4-panel “daily” type strip, when you count the time it takes to draw and color them in.  But when I get what I think is a good idea for a Sunday-type strip, I don’t want to pass it up just because it takes longer to draw, you know?
